How to pause a prospect in sequence?

Frustrated with the auto-replies(OOO) that are being marked as active-finished in your campaign?

Don’t worry, we have a solution for that. Now, you can pause the prospect inside a sequence to stop sending any further emails.

How does it work?

  1. Go to the sequence’s Prospects tab. 
  2. Select the prospects whom you want to pause. 
  3. Click on the “mark as pause” button to pause the prospect.
  4. In a Pop-up select days for which you want to mark it as a pause. (e.g., for 14 days, 30 days, or 45 days)
  5. You can also keep it as paused without selecting an option of auto un-pause by selecting “Mark and keep prospect as paused”.

How will it be unpaused, then? 

  1. If you marked a prospect as “paused” for X days, it will be turned active automatically after X days.
  2. Your prospect will be scheduled to receive the next email as normal. 
  3. You can un-pause(resume) the prospect anytime and it will be immediately turned active by clicking on the “mark as resume”.

In the meantime, if any engagement activity is tracked for the prospect such as open, click, reply, unsubscribe or bounce, then it will be reflected.
